PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steering wheel enabling a driver to operate switches without loosing his hold on an outer periphery. SOLUTION: The steering wheel 10 is provided with the switches 18 protruding from a rim portion 16. Operating portions 20 of the switches 18 are rotatively operated to control a control target. The driver can rotatively move the operating portions 20 of the switches 18 with some fingers while keeping grasping the rim portion 16. The driver can operate the switches 18 without loosing his hold on the rim portion 16 and can deal with sudden handling of the steering wheel 10 even when operating the switches 18.
