The invention relates to textile material which is knitted (10), having at least one first thread (1) comprising an electro-conductive material and at least one second thread (2) comprising an electro non-conductive material. Said textile material can be produced in a simple and economic manner and comprises a reliable protective layer against electromagnetic waves. A particular advantage of said material is that the electro-conductive material is made from metal or a metal alloy having an oligodynamic and catalytic effect. In addition to the reliable protective layer against electromagnetic fields, a bacterial and fungicidal effect is obtained as well as the catalysed degradation of external odorous substances. |
