The compressor has a pressure chamber (3), leaf valves, a suction chamber (5), an outlet channel (9) from pressure chamber to air conditioner circuit, an intake channel (15) from circuit to suction chamber, and a pressure limitation device (19) connected to the pressure chamber via a further channel (17). The fastening point of the pressure limitation device on the pressure chamber is located at a distance to and above, the fastening point of the outlet channel on that chamber. A connection channel (21) from the pressure chamber to a drive chamber (7) is used to supply coolant and lubricant to the drive chamber.
