Vehicle seat (1) which can be adjusted between a sitting and a storage position comprises a seat frame (2), a back rest (3) hinged on the seat frame and locked in place by a locking arrangement (4), and a seat cushion frame which can be adjusted relative to the seat frame. The vehicle seat is adjusted from the sitting position into the storage position by a combined folding movement of the back rest and adjusting movement of the seat cushion frame. A lock (8) locks the seat cushion frame in the sitting position. An unlocking device (18) pre-tensioned by spring force and attached to the seat frame unlocks the lock during folding forward of the back rest from its rear comfort region into a front storage position when the seat frame is in a rear seat position.
