The front area of the seat frame (3) is joined to the bottom of the vehicle with a swivel mounted lever (8) to be controlled by a spindle drive (20) pulling the complete seat unit (1, 2) to the front when activated. The upper area of the backrest (2) is joined to the chassis (10) with a second swivel mounted lever (13), facilitating the backrest (2) to move into a reclining position. The seat frame (3) and the frame of the backrest (5) overlap at the back of the unit.
