An information transmission-reception system comprising message board database containing message board information related to a message board such that messages on the message board can be read through a telephone terminal categorizable as a terminal of an owner or guest, a message can be written on the message board through such a telephone terminal, and only the owner has the right of operation of the message board, an information displaying means for reading message board information stored in the message board database, a message board information updating means for adding new information written through a telephone terminal categorizable as a terminal of an owner or guest as message board information in the message board database, and a calling means for calling a telephone terminal possessed by a person permitted to read except the person who writes the message when the information is updated by the message board information updating means.
