<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erroneous detection of the presence of a master even when a printing drum is allowed to stand over a long period of time in a master wound state and there is the lowering of the light reflectivity of the master caused by the leaching of the ink component on the master and to eliminate the winding mistake of the master. <P>SOLUTION: The clamper 25 provided on the outer surface of the printing drum 20 has a clamper base 56 and a clamper body 57. The passage of a current is cut off between the clamper base 56 and the clamper body 57 and, when there is no master in them, an electrically connected connection terminal is provided. When the detection needle 55 of a movable electrode 26 comes into contact with the outer surface of the clamper body 57, the current passing state between the clamper base 56 and the clamper body 57 becomes a detactable state and the presence of the master is detected by a passage-of-current detection means 57. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
