<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved organic light-emitting diode device structure body to inject electrons to an electron transport layer or directly to a light-emitting layer. <P>SOLUTION: The organic light-emitting diode device includes (a) a substrate, (b) an anode layer made of a conductive material provided on the substrate, (c) a light-emitting layer including an electric field light-emitting material provided on the anode layer, (d) a buffer layer including phthalocyanine or its derivative provided on the light-emitting layer, (e) an electron injecting dopant source layer including an alkali metal compound or its pyrolysate provided on the buffer layer, and (f) a sputter layer of a metal or an alloy provided on the buffer layer selected to perform an electron injection function to the light-emitting layer together with the buffer layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
