摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission control device for a vehicle for controlling switching between a speed increasing mode and a constant speed mode depending on electric loading or the condition of a battery with a little switching shock. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission control device comprises a rotary electric machine 5 for charging a battery 9 and supplying power to a load, a crank pulley 15 mounted on a crank shaft 24 of an internal combustion engine 1 for driving the rotary electric machine 5 with power transmission means 17, a planetary gear mechanism consisting of a sun gear 18 joined to the crank pulley 15, a planetary gear 19 supported by a carrier 23 joined to the crank shaft 24 and an internal gear 20 to be controlled by an electromagnetic clutch 21, and control means 70 for controlling the electromagnetic clutch 21. When the speed of the internal combustion engine 1 is a preset value or lower and the residual capacity of the battery 9 is a preset level or lower or the electric load is in a high load condition, the electromagnetic clutch 21 is turned on to function the planetary gear mechanism as a speed increasing mechanism and drive the rotary electric machine 5 to increase its speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
