PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel molding system for a foamed styrene product capable of avoiding clogging of a slit to enhance a yield of the product, extremely decreasing cooling water for mold releasing, enhancing a molding cycle as a whole, greatly saving energy and simplifying the equipment. SOLUTION: In a molding system of a foamed styrene product there are mounted in a system connecting a steam supply source to a mold 1 a thermo-compressor 2 generating low pressure saturated steam by decompressing high pressure steam and adjusting its temperature, a steam reservoir 4 storing the low pressure saturated steam generated in the thermo-compressor 2 and supplying it to the mold 1 and a vacuum tank 3 connected to a suction side of the thermo-compressor 2 to keep vacuum generated during decompression of the steam and intercommunicating with the mold to subject a molded item to the vacuum. The high pressure steam is converted into the low pressure saturated steam and is stored in the steam reservoir 4. and the low pressure saturated steam is supplied to the mold 1 in a heating and melt-bonding process. In a cooling process after molding, the molded item in the mold is subjected to the vacuum of the vacuum tank 3 whereby it is cooled by vacuum-vaporizing condensed water adhering to the molded.
