PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of extracting cordycepin by which cordycepin is extracted in a high efficiency. SOLUTION: A Cordyceps Sinensis Saccardo containing cordycepin is used as a sample. The sample is pulverized, the pulverized sample and water are charged into a same vessel together, and a liquid in the vessel is stirred, or the sample is pulverized, the pulverized sample and the water are charged into the same vessel together, and a liquid in the vessel is vibrated by ultrasonic wave. It is preferable that 50 cm<SP>3</SP>water is charged into the vessel after 1 g pulverized sample is charged. The stirring time or the vibrating time of the liquid in the vessel is preferably 5-150 min. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
