PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reproduction processing in consideration of the remaining quantity of a battery. SOLUTION: This reproduction device 10 comprises a prediction section 102 which predicts the total power consumption Pt required for reproduction of digital data selected by a user, a detection section 101 which detects the current remaining quantity Pb of the battery 100 and a reproduction control section 103 which warns the user that the digital data can not be reproduced to the last when the current remaining quantity Pb of the battery 100 is not more than the total power consumption Pt.
