WELDING METHOD AND WELDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method and a welding system by which a fillet bead is stably formed in a butted part between a groove side and its back side by arc welding from the single groove side and the butted part is joined in a good shape in the case that penetration beads are joined by BOB welding of at least two times. SOLUTION: In this welding method, a 1st base metal 1 having the single groove is brought into contact with a 2nd base metal 2 in a T shape, a welding wire 6 is faced to the weld zone of the groove formed with the 1st base metal 1 and the 2nd base metal 2. A back bead B4 is formed by melting the weld zone of the groove by an arc 102 from the welding wire and pushing out a molten material on the back side of the groove while moving the welding wire 6 in the direction of welding. The end part K of the penetration bead B formed in that way is removed to a prescribed thickness with a grinder 31. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
