The system and process comprise providing food product (10), conveying the food product (10) on conveying means (20), cooking the food product (10) at station (30), chilling the food product (10) at station (40), dispensing spice (15) at dispensing station (50) to a wet or dry batter, battering the food product (10) at battering station (60) with the batter, par-frying the food product (10) at station (70) and freezing the food product (10) at freezing station (73).
