The flat screen picture display has two picture displays (3D,2D) which are at least temporarily placed on a partial area of the picture display surface to form a two dimensional visible display. The two picture displays can be successively arranged in direct spatially adjacent positions. The display surfaces are directly displayed without accyessories.
