PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera requiring to press only one button even if a image picture or a moving image is photographed. SOLUTION: The digital camera comprises a shutter button 10; an image memory 4 or a memory card 9 for storing digital images of a subject; and a control circuit 2 for storing the digital images of the subject in the image memory 4 according to the operation of the shutter button 10. The control circuit 2 records the subject image, first as a still image and then as a moving image, as the shutter button 10 starts to be pressed. The control circuit 2 allows the still images first stored in the image memory 4 or the memory card 9, to remain and erases other moving images, if the press operation time of the shutter button 10 is within a threshold t1. If the press operation time of the shutter button 10 exceeds the threshold t1, the moving images stored are kept in the image memory 4 or the memory card 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
