PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water from entering indoors from a through-hole of a wall surface for taking out a wire, even for the wall surface which can not prevent the entrance of rain water by a waterproof packing having a rainproof effect against the wall surface with a roughness of not more than 2 mm. SOLUTION: The water proof receptacle comprises a receptacle body 1 with a tap blade insertion hole 52; a waterproof receptacle plate 2 formed in a shape of a box storing the receptacle body 1 inside, having an opening 2b at the side of the wall face H and an opening 2c making a tap blade insertion hole 52 open outward while facing itself downward formed to the lower surface side;a waterproof packing 108 formed so as to block the opening 2b of the wall surface side, having an opening 80 for inserting the wire taken out from the through-hole TH of the wall surface H and connected to the receptacle body 1; and a bushing 11 formed in a shape having a cylindrical part 111 extending from the opening 80 of the waterproof packing 108 into the through-hole TH of the wall face H, while surrounding the wire inserted into the opening 80.
