PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device for a conveyed article capable of shortening the longest staying time in a conveyor device for the conveyed article. SOLUTION: The storage device 1 for the conveyed article W temporarily stores the conveyed article W to be conveyed one after another by a main stream conveyance device 2 when a trouble occurs at a downstream side of conveyance, and returns it to the main stream conveyance device 2 after the trouble is canceled. The storage device 1 is branched from the main stream conveyance device 2, prolonged to the end of a conveyor device 10, and a first bypass conveyance device 11 which receives the article conveyed W from the main stream conveyance device 2 and delivers it from the end of the conveyor device 10 to the conveyor device 10. In addition, it is equipped with the conveyor 10 which receives the article conveyed W from the end, stores it and delivers it from the other end to the main stream conveyance device 2. Therefore, the article conveyed W to be stored in the conveyor device 10 can be returned to the main stream conveyance device 2 at the order to be stored. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
