PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device having structure to vertically regulate a movable pressure plate, energized to above by a pressure plate energizing means, by a regulation plate cam rotated in linkage with a feed roller and capable of preventing collision with the feed roller from occurring as a result of the movable pressure plate rapidly rising. SOLUTION: An auxiliary plate cam 301 rotating in linkage with a regulating plate cam 111 is provided, and a stress exerted on the regulation cam plate 111 from a pressure plate energizing means 103 is offset by a stress exerted on the auxiliary plate cam 301 from a cam energizing means 303.
