PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring internal strain of a molded article by which the internal strain of the molded article containing a metal insert can be measured. SOLUTION: In molding the molded article composed of a macromolecular insulating material containing the metal insert 3, an optical fiber sensor 1 is buried near the insert 3 and the behavior of the internal strain of the molded article is monitored.
