摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute accurate detection of a blade angle position by applying a stable rising force to a feedback ring. SOLUTION: This marine propulsion apparatus has a swinging tube 9 provided on a ship, an interlocking propeller shaft 3, a vertical driving shaft 4 and a propeller shaft 5, a propeller blade 1 provided at the end of the propeller shaft, and a driving mechanism 14 for setting a pitch of the propeller blade. The driving mechanism 14 is connected to a blade angle transmitter 25 through a rod 16, a chain 20, the feedback ring 21 and a ring 26. The feedback ring 21 rises and falls by a guide rod 33 and a bushing 34 and is given a constant upward energizing force by a constant reaction force spring 50 regardless of its position. Energizing by the feedback ring eliminates the need of a conventionally used hydraulic device, an appropriate tension is given to an articulation long body all the time regardless of the position of the feedback ring without loosening, and stable detection of blade angle is realized.
