SHUTTER DEVICE FOR HOME RICE POLISHING MILL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution requiring no slide stroke as a discharge shutter of a polished rice in a home rice polishing mill. SOLUTION: A discharge roll 8 is provided between a rice discharge port 6 of a hopper 5 and a polished rice receiving port 7 opposed to below the discharge port 6 and an entrance of a rice polishing chamber is faced to an opening end at one end. A rice passage entrance opposed to the rice discharge port and a rice passage exit 19 opposed to the polished rice receiving port 7 are provided on a peripheral wall of the discharge roll 8, respectively. An elastic circular plate-like shutter 21 is closely adhered to an outer surface of the rice passage exit 19. One side edge of the shutter 21 is fixed and the other side edge is made to a free end 25. The free end 25 is ride-up on a rotation restriction part 44 and is elastically deformed to open the rice passage exit 19 in the state that the shutter 21 is normally rotated by 180°from such a state that it closes the rice passage exit 19.
