PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability and durability concerning the tilt rotation of a cooking vessel while cooking food by heating with steam. SOLUTION: A cooking apparatus includes: the cooking vessel 1 for cooking by supplying and discharging steam to/from a heat exchange jacket 7 so as to perform heat exchange with food; a support frame 3 for supporting the cooking vessel 1 so as to be tilting rotatable; a movable side coupling 29 which is fitted to the jacket 7, and communicates with the inner part of the jacket 7 by connection; and a fixing side coupling 31 which is fitted to the support frame 3, and communicates with a steam supply source by connection. When the cooking vessel 1 is tiled and rotated from a cooking position, the movable side coupling 29 is separated from the fixing side coupling 31. When the tilting rotation of the cooking vessel 1 is returned to the cooking position, the movable side coupling 29 is connected to the fixing side coupling 31, so that the coupling 29 communicates with the coupling 31 by connection.
