Electrostatic powder coating apparatus comprising earthing means (31), a non-conductive substrate (27) overlying the earthing means (32), and charged powder depositing means (23), characterised in that when in use, the product to be coated (33) is placed in contact with the non-conductive substrate (27). A method of electrostatically powder coating a product comprising the steps of; placing the product (33) on a non-conducting substrate (27); providing an carthing means (32) on the opposite side of the non-conducting substrate (27) to the product (33); and depositing a charged powder onto the product (33) using a charged powder depositing means (23) from the opposite side of the non-conducting substrate (27) to the earthing means (32). |
