The flexible panels (25) of a play-pen (20) are provided with several grips (30). A ball-shaped handle element protrudes from the center of the grip (30) which can be designed like a flower with a flange and five leaves surrounding the handle. A mechanism assembled of two elastic tongues creates a sound in combination with the hollow space inside the handle each time the child touches the element. The sound generator can also be activated electronically.
