[Also in Division A4] A liquids mixing unit adapted for wall mounting purposes having cold water 4 and hot water 5 supply pipe branches and outlet pipe branches such as 8 enclosed by a housing in which the underside of the housing is provided with at least one slot such as 17 extending from the edge of the unit adjacent the wall so that the outlet pipe branch can project therefrom to form an outlet pipe 10. Another outlet pipe branch 9 may be fitted with a screw thread 11 for receiving a spray. All the controls are operated externally of the housing and pass through the side of the housing which is parallel to the wall, said controls being secured to the solid side and serving to partially support the housing by means of screwed coupling nuts 12. Closure valves 20 are provided in the supply pipe branches. The parallel supply and outlet pipe and branches are offset with respect to each other so that the outlet pipe branches are nearer to the wall than the supply pipe branches which are attached to the mixing chamber by means of releasable coupling nuts 6.</p> |
