PURPOSE: A method for deleting Hangul in a Hangul input system is provided to delete an inputted Hangul in units of a phoneme and to delete an inputted Hangul in units of a vocal sound. CONSTITUTION: In case that a delete key is inputted when a Hangul is inputted(102), a control part checks the last phoneme of the last syllable of the inputted Hangul(104). If the last phoneme is a consonant(106), the control part deletes the consonant(108). However, in case that the last phoneme is a vowel(110), the control part deletes the last inputted vowel(112).
