<p>Graspable tubular handles are selectively and operatively connected to at least one of latching subassembly (143) and actuating assembly to select the desired length of graspable handle to facilitate repositioning of a movable closure element in which latching subassembly is mounted. The latching subassembly is changed from latched to release condition when an actuating assembly is changed from normal to release condition.
