A linearly polarized microwave printed circuit patch antenna has two layers over a ground plane with the top layer having strip resonators (6a, 6b) with outward pointing triangular tips and surrounding metal surface (7) separated by a non conducting area (8) with circle (9) around the tips and fed by coupling to a feed network on the middle layer.
