<p>In the present invention, there is described a vulcanizing agent for the sulfur vulcanization of rubber compound based on at least one unsaturated rubber or a mixture thereof with other hydrocarbon macromolecular substances, wherein the agent is the result of the addition to polyreactions of sulfur in the presence of at least one unsaturated C12-C22 aliphatic carboxylic acid containing 12 to 22 carbon atoms and with 1 to 4 double bonds in a molecule and/or esters thereof with alkanols having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkanols containing 3 to 18 carbon atoms optionally mixtures of monoene to polyene and an auxiliary substance or substances, whereby the total content of sulfur in the agent ranges from 75 to 96 percent by weight. It is produced by addition and/or polyaddition of sulfur at a temperature of 120 to 250 degC in an amount of 75 to 96 percent by weight with at least one unsaturated aliphatic carboxylic acid containing 12 to 22 carbon atoms with 1 to 4 double bonds such as oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, lauric acid, elaidic acid, eleostearic acid, parinaric acid, arachidonic acid or esters or mixtures thereof with at least one monoene to polyene, eventually after adding stabilizer the melt is rapidly cooled, at best with an aqueous solution of surface active agent, it is disintegrated and modified to an applicable form.</p> |
