PURPOSE: A road sign is provided to prevent surface discoloration, to resist external impact. CONSTITUTION: The road sign contains: a direction plate(20) attached with a direction indicator(22) to let drivers recognize directions and surfaced to improve surface hardness and luminosity; a base plate(40) attached with the direction plate(20) and provided with a setting groove, where a luminous element and a condenser are installed, and a fixture(94) for fixing the direction plate(20) and preventing the permeation of rainwater between the direction plate(20) and the base plate(40); and a support bar(50) installed on the backside of the base plate(40) to support the base plate(40) to be installed on the road surface and provided with a solar cell(96).
