METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WIRE MESH USING ELECTRIC RESISTANCE WELDING

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a wire mesh using electric resistance welding is provided which is capable of producing large quantities of wire mesh having various designs at low cost by using electric resistance welding and manufactures various solid products without monotony by using the manufactured wire meshes. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a bending step (S10) of bending a wire rod in a zigzag shape; an initial mesh forming step (S20) of forming a mesh by coming in contact them each other as forming a point of contact using two of the bent wire rods; a welding step (S30) of instantaneously electric resistance welding the wire rods by applying electricity to the point of contact of the two bent wire rods; a mesh extension step (S40) of welding the formed meshes after forming next meshes by adding other bent wire rods to the two wire rods; and a repetition step (S50) of manufacturing a wire mesh having certain numbers or more of meshes by repeating the mesh extension step (S40), wherein the method further comprises a welding medium interposition step (S21) of forming a point of contact for electric resistance by interposing one or more of welding media between the tangent lines after forming tangent lines having a certain length or more at wire rod parts oppositely directed to each other during mesh forming in the initial mesh forming step (S20); and a pressing step increasing contact area by pressing the wire rods together with the welding medium at a part where the welding medium and wire rods face each other after the welding medium interposition step (S21).
