A process for storage-stabilizing ketone peroxides comprises storing the ketone peroxides in solution in one or more inert solvents and in a stabilizing quantity of one or more aliphatic, alicyclic or heterocyclic amines. The aliphatic amines may contain hydroxy substituents. Preferred solvents are glycols, glycol ethers, phosphate esters, ethyl acetate, alkyl benzenes, aliphatic alcohols and phthalate esters. Many suitable amines are disclosed. The compositions may further contain cross-linking coaccelerators, e.g. acetyl acetone and ethyl acetoacetate. |
