PURPOSE: A motor drive method and a motor driving gear are provided to reduce the vibration of a motor and electromagnetic sounds by preventing a plurality of phase currents from changing rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A motor drive method for a motor driving gear is provided with a plurality of output circuits having upper/lower arm side switching elements connected in series and current detection resistors connected in series in common to the plurality of output circuits. The method comprises the steps of conducting one switching element of one of the output circuits in a period corresponding to a prescribed electrical angle, and making the switching operation of the other switching element of the plurality of remaining the output circuits. The step of making the switching elements conduct switching operation in a plurality of the limited periods, makes the first period conducting one switching element, and the second period conducting the other switching element so as to make them exist.
