PURPOSE: A microwave oven and a high-voltage transformer thereof are provided to prevent the overheat of the high-voltage transformer by controlling the voltage level applied to a magnetron. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven includes a voltage conversion portion(10) to boost an input voltage and supply the predetermined voltage to a magnetron(MGT). The microwave oven further includes an output change portion(20) to change an output of the magnetron(MGT) by changing an output of the magnetron(MGT) according to the temperature of the voltage conversion portion(10). The output change portion(20) lowers the voltage applied to the magnetron(MGT) when the temperature of the voltage conversion portion(10) is more than the predetermined level.
