PURPOSE: Provided is a weaving method which simultaneously forms a pile design and a ground design with different patterns at a woven velvet using a jacquard machine to produce a fabric with maximized tactile sensation. CONSTITUTION: With the weaving method, a protruded pile velvet design and a non-protruded ground jacquard design are simultaneously formed with a jacquard velvet weaving machine to make a two dimensional pile velvet design and a one-dimensional ground design harmoniously. One or more ground design beams are provided to form the non-protruded ground jacquard design in addition to the warp beam, and a plurality of pile design creels are provided to form the protruded pile design.
