PURPOSE: An air conditioner with a built-in multimedia device is provided to allow the multimedia device to be operated by power source of the air conditioner when the air conditioner works, and by a battery built therein when the air conditioner stops working, and to download multimedia contents through a communication unit to play back. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a multimedia device(320) downloading music files and video files through a communication unit to store and play back, and storing and playing back sound data inputted through a microphone(325); and a power control part(340) switching operating power for the multimedia device between an inside power and a battery power depending on working state of the air conditioner. The multimedia device has a personal computer connecting part(330) connected with a computer. The power control part supplies the inside power when the air conditioner works, and the battery power when the air conditioner stops working. |
