PURPOSE: A data communication method using an adaptive twin carrier for noise cancellation is provided to execute noise cancellation using software in order to extend X-10 based power line communication and to secure the reliability of power line communication. CONSTITUTION: A program judges whether the first zero cross data are received(S1201). If the first zero cross data are received, the program searches a Sub interval, stores a carrier detection interval, and names it First_sub(S1202). Then the program judges whether First_sub is detected(S1203). In case that First_sub is detected, the program judges whether the second zero cross data are received(S1205). If the second zero cross data are received, the program searches the Sub interval, stores the carrier detection interval, and names it Second_sub(S1206). Then the program judges whether Second_sub is detected(S1207). If Second_sub is not detected, the program ignores the reception of the first data and recognizes the data of the present cycle as the first data(S1208). However, in case that Second_sub is not detected, the program recognizes the zero cross data as noise and determines First_sub as a data area(S1210).
