DUAL BAND ANTENNA FOR WIRELESS LAN

PURPOSE: A dual band antenna for a wireless LAN is provided to supply communication services of different frequency bands by patterning a plurality of inverse F-shaped antennas on a ceramic dielectric. CONSTITUTION: A dual band antenna for a wireless LAN includes a ceramic dielectric block(100) and a conductive pattern. The ceramic dielectric block(100) is fixed on a plurality of feeding substrates(102,104) which are formed on the predetermined region of a PCB(10). The conductive pattern includes a plurality of radiating elements(110). The radiating elements(110) are formed with one or more inverse F-shaped antenna pattern elements which are symmetrically arranged around an upper face of the ceramic dielectric block(100). The radiating elements(110) are arranged on the ceramic dielectric block(100) and the feeding substrates(102,104). A feeding hole(130) is formed at a contact point between the radiating elements of the feeding substrates(102,104) and the radiating elements(110) of the ceramic dielectric block(100). The radiating element(110) of the ceramic dielectric block(100) is close to a ground side(140) of the PCB(10).
