HEAT INSULATION APPARATUS OF SLAB TRANSFER CAR

PURPOSE: A heat insulation apparatus of slab transfer car is provided to shorten reheating time of slab and improve productivity by preventing temperature drop of the slab during delaying and waiting of charging and storing of slab. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a transfer car body(10) arranged movably along guide rail(90); a heat insulation furnace(40) comprising insulating outer wall and inner wall(42) constructed on an inner part of the transfer car body(10), and a plurality of guide holes vertically formed on a part of the inner wall(42); a beams(32) inserted into the guide holes and installed in such a way that the beams(32) are vertically moved along the guide holes; beam cylinders(34) connected to a lower surface of the beams(32) to vertically move the beams(32) and fixed to an adjacent bottom surface separated from the heat insulation furnace(40); a skid plate(38) which is fixed to an upper surface of the beams(32) and installed in such a way that the skid plate(38) is charged into the heat insulation furnace(40), and on which slab (S) is rested; and a pair of heat insulation plates(21) arranged on an upper surface of the transfer car body(10) and movably installed in such a way that an opened upper surface of the heat insulation furnace(40) is sealed by a heat insulation plate operating cylinder(23).
