SKIN WHITENING COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING EXTRACTS OF EMBLICA OFFICINALIS AND RAMULUS MORI

PURPOSE: Provided is a skin whitening cosmetic composition which exerts significantly enhanced inhibiting effect on tyrosinase activity and excellent whitening effect without making noxious skin stimulation and incurring adverse side effects. CONSTITUTION: A skin whitening cosmetic composition comprises extracts of Emblica officinalis and Ramulus mori as effective components. The extract of Emblica officinalis inhibits the activity of tyrosinase, being the noncompetitive inhibition. The amount of the Emblica officinalis extract is 1.0-15.0wt.% of the composition, and the amount of the Ramulus mori extract is 0.0001-10.0wt.% of the composition.
