PURPOSE: A method for controlling a dishwasher having a deodorizing device is provided to remove odor from the dishwasher by forming photocatalyst at the inner wall of a washing tub. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a dishwasher having a deodorizing device comprises the steps of: draining water from a washing tub(2), and drying the washing tub; and switching on a light member(20) for a predetermined time, and activating photocatalyst(10).
