PURPOSE: A waterproof resin composition and its preparation method are provided, to improve water fastness, strength, durability, elasticity, adhesive strength and hollow charging property and to obtain self-washing property for preventing the generation of fungi or moss. CONSTITUTION: The waterproof resin composition comprises 10-80 wt% of a thermoplastic resin; 10-50 wt% of the nonreactive organic polysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene copolymer represented by the formula 1; and 1-10 wt% of a curing accelerating catalyst, wherein Rs are independent one another and are H or a monovalent hydrocarbon group; m is 0-10; n is 1-10; x is 2-6; y is 3-10; z is 0-10; and A is a monovalent hydrocarbon group. The preparation method comprises the steps of mixing the nonreactive organic polysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene copolymer and the curing accelerating catalyst; maturing the mixture at a room temperature for 7 days; and adding a thermoplastic resin to the matured mixture. |
