PURPOSE: A function selecting method using an annunciator in a mobile communication terminal is provided to display a cursor on the annunciator displayed on a display unit of the mobile communication terminal and be immediately moved to a menu picture associated with a corresponding annunciator on which the cursor is located according to the movement of the cursor. CONSTITUTION: If a user pushes a certain button or a conventional key for displaying a cursor on an annunciator, the control unit senses the button operation of the user through a keypad(S120), displays the cursor on the annunciator(S130). The control unit displays menu items associated with the annunciator on which the cursor is located on a display unit(S140). If the user pushes a direction key and moves the cursor for seeing an other menu item, the control unit displays menu items associated with an annunciator on which the cursor is newly located(S140).
