PURPOSE: A portable phone for communicating with an extrinsic terminal through a handsfree kit and a protocol thereof are provided to support the communication between a portable phone and an extrinsic terminal through a handsfree kit. CONSTITUTION: A portable phone(100) supports an extended handsfree kit protocol(400). A handsfree kit(300), to which another extrinsic terminal can be attached, also supports the extended handsfree kit protocol(400). The extended handsfree kit protocol(400) is to connect the portable phone(100), the handsfree kit(300), and other extrinsic terminals. A virtual machine driving part(E) activates the virtual machine of the portable phone(100) by an extended command. An application driving part(F) activates a relevant application in the virtual machine of the portable phone(100) by an extended command. A distributor(H) distributes the extended handsfree kit protocol(400) to an extrinsic terminal(200) from the handsfree kit(300) or to the handsfree function block(I) or supplemental function block(J) of the handsfree kit(300).
