PURPOSE: A method of controlling an indoor fan of an air conditioner is provided to improve the average discharge temperature by changing the reference point of the temperature of an indoor pipe and controlling the indoor fan. CONSTITUTION: A method of controlling an indoor fan of an air conditioner comprises steps of detecting the indoor temperature during heating operation(200,203); comparing the detected indoor temperature with a standard heating indoor temperature and then outputting a difference(206); rising the reference pipe temperature set in a heating standard condition by the rate of the output difference when the output difference is a positive number(209); lowering the reference pipe temperature set in the heating standard condition by the rate of the output difference when the output difference is a negative number(215); and controlling the air volume of the indoor fan, on the basis of the changed reference pipe temperature(230,236).
