PURPOSE: Seat rail detent structure is provided to reduce the processing cost and mounting cost while having the same functions by forming detent grooves to only one shift rail and fixing a poppet unit to the other shift rail. CONSTITUTION: Seat rail detent structure includes a pair of rails comprising a movable rail(52) forming plural detent grooves(52') in which a ball(61) of a poppet unit(60) is inserted and a fixed rail(51) parallel to the movable rail. The fixed rail is moved integrally with the poppet unit. The poppet unit is integrally fixed to a body(50) combined to the fixed rail. The poppet unit comprises a case(63) fixed to the body; the poppet ball restricting the movement of the movable rail; and a poppet spring(62) installed inside the case, to give elastic force to the poppet ball.
