PURPOSE: Installation structure of a shock absorber for a suspension is provided to prevent noise and vibration by restricting noise from being transmitted into a vehicle room through a wheel housing inner panel, and to install the shock absorber conveniently by placing the upper part of the shock absorber outside the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber mounting bracket(2) is combined with a shock absorber(1), and the lower part of the shock absorber is installed in a lower arm. The upper part of the shock absorber is spaced from a wheel housing inner panel(7) and placed outside a vehicle body. The shock absorber mounting bracket is surrounded by a shock absorber reinforcing bracket(13) with welding. The edge of the shock absorber for a side member(11) is welded into the end of the wheel housing inner panel and the side panel, and the other edge of the shock absorber opposite to the side member is combined with the end of a shock absorber rail bracket(15) welded into the wheel housing inner panel by welding.
