PURPOSE: A washing control method for a washing machine is provided to prevent fire and reduce power consumption by restricting overload of a motor from bubbles with detecting the amount of bubbles in an inner tub during washing course. CONSTITUTION: An inner tub is rotated to wash the laundry in the inner tub during washing course, and the amount of bubbles in the inner tub is detected by comparing the applied voltage against RPM(Revolution Per Minute) of a motor. A bubble reduction pattern is performed to decrease the amount of bubbles if the bubble amount is over the reference value. Washing water is drained from the inner tub, and washing course is performed again by supplying water. The bubble amount is reduced with stopping the inner tub for the predetermined time, and the inner tub is rotated again. The inner tub is rotated with supplying water to bubbles in the inner tub through a shower, or decreasing RPM of the motor. |
