METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DEFROSTING OPERATION OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A method for controlling defrosting operation of an air conditioner is provided to improve heating performance by completely thawing frost formed on a heat exchanger through the efficient defrosting operation, and completely removing moisture generated as the frost is thawed. CONSTITUTION: A method includes the sections of: a first section(212) thawing frost by operating only accomplisher if defrosting operation is executed as a control part senses temperature of an outdoor tube through an outdoor tube temperature sensing part and determines frost is formed on a heat exchanger when the temperature is lower than fixed temperature; a second section(222) in which the control part controls an outdoor fan driving part to drive an outdoor fan as the compressor keeps working while temperature of a tube is kept high by the working compressor; and a third section(232) stopping the compressor and operating only the outdoor fan to completely remove remaining moisture using operation of the outdoor fan.
